Bows and Arrows

Unlock the science of motion and energy in this hands-on STEM workshop where participants design and build functional bows and arrows! Using simple materials like popsicle sticks, string, and paper straws, kids will explore key principles of physics, including tension, elasticity, and aerodynamics.

Participants will construct a bow, create stable arrows, and test their designs to achieve optimal performance. Join us for a fun exploration of STEM concepts in action!

Please note: We will be creating functional bows and arrows, so bring your safety self and a sense of adventure! Safety is our top priority and kids will be supplied safety googles.

This workshop is made possible through the support of Tablelands Regional Council.
