In this fun and hands-on Minecraft workshop, kids 8+ will design imaginative builds and help create a shared redstone parkour challenge. Their structures link together to form one big obstacle course where teams race to survive traps, moving platforms and hidden mechanisms on their way to the finish.

This offline, local network session encourages creativity, collaboration and problem-solving as kids share ideas, assign roles and work together to bring their vision to life. Along the way they’ll learn simple redstone logic, practice spatial awareness and build confidence in planning and designing within a virtual world. No prior Minecraft experience needed.

There will be a snack and lunch break. This event is not catered.

Learning outcomes

Participants practise creative problem solving, engineering thinking, testing, iteration and collaboration through a practical hands-on activity.
