Newtons Cradle

Using simple materials such as paddle pop sticks, string, and some weights, we'll guide your child through the process of building a working Newton's Cradle. They'll have the chance to learn about physics concepts such as momentum and energy transfer, while also using their creativity to decorate and personalise their creation.

Your child will leave the workshop feeling proud of what they've created and with a newfound appreciation for science and physics. They'll be able to use their Newton's Cradle to demonstrate these concepts to their friends and family, and they'll have a unique and personalised piece of decor to display in their room.

This workshop is made possible through the support of Tablelands Regional Council.
