Turn paper into sound and bring science to life
In this hands on workshop, students will build their own working paper speaker using simple materials like paper, magnets, and wire. By connecting their speaker to an audio source, they’ll see how electrical signals can be transformed into vibrations that produce sound.
As they build and experiment, students will explore how electromagnets work, how speakers create movement, and how design choices impact volume and sound quality. They’ll test, tweak, and improve their designs to get the best performance from their device.
This workshop blends physics, electronics, and creative problem solving into an engaging experience for homeschool learners.
