Ever wonder how grasshoppers leap so high? We're going to find out and then build our own super-jumping grasshoppers using cool stuff like wood, rubber bands, and pipe cleaners!
In this fun hands-on session, you'll:
Learn about the secret 'springs' in grasshopper legs
Design and create your own jumping machine
Test and improve your grasshopper to make it jump higher
Challenge the crew to make your grasshopper leap over a metre into the air!
