Stop motion animation workshops will be held twice-daily for children aged eight and above in week two of the school holidays.

In these simple, exciting two- hour workshops, children will learn how to develop a story using a storyboard, design digital backgrounds, create their own unique characters using materials and shoot still frames using iPads, ultimately turning their production into a short, stop-motion animation movie.

Learning outcomes

Participants practise creative problem solving, engineering thinking, testing, iteration and collaboration through a practical hands-on activity.
